My Story - The Power and Sin of Grace

Sin is seldom talked about in today’s culture and yet it has the power to destroy your life. The good news is God can heal and restore what is broken because of His love for us! Listen as we hear from someone in our church family share how their life was destroyed by sin, but redeemed by the love and grace of God!

Colossians - Conclusions

Have you ever quit something, but later came back and succeeded? At the end of Colossians we see a relationship that was once torn by differences, but is now restored! In the same way, God never gives up on us no matter how many times we quit or fail!

Colossians - The New Christian Household

What should the household look like as a Christian family? We see that it is based a lot less on "who does what" in the house. And it is based a lot more on "Who" we do it for. Everything we do should be marked by love and self-sacrifice as we try to live the way Jesus did. As we do everything as if we are doing it for God.

Colossians - The New Humanity

Paul continues his letter to the church in Colossae by shifting from, “What Christ has done for us,” to “What we should do” in response. We are challenged to take off the old life and put on the new life that God intends for us to have!

Colossians - The Pressure to Turn Away

In the letter of Colossians, Paul writes to a church that is being pulled away from Jesus into their old way of living or pulled toward a set of rules to be right with God. We still have these pulls in our lives, what is the greater pull in your life?

Colossians - The Suffering Apostle

In the second section of Colossians, Paul says he “strenuously contends” with all the energy Christ has given him so that people may know Jesus. Do we have a powerful burning desire for others to know Jesus? What does it look like for us to strenuously contend for those around us?

Supreme and Sufficient

Paul starts the book of Colossians with encouraging the church Jesus is supreme meaning Jesus is God and is overall all creation. Paul also writes, Jesus is sufficient—meeting all the requirements for salvation, the work is finished! Jesus still does that for us today!
