The target of the archer is the gold center bullseye of the target. But, there is an affliction that plagues some archers called "Gold Fever", where they let the air loose as soon as they see the gold bullseye in their sights before they get their true aim.
Sometimes as followers of Jesus, we can suffer from the same affliction. We act before we have our true aim on the target that Jesus would have us go after.
